As donor to the Mitchell Gropper, Q.C. Faculty Exchange Program at Peter A. Allard School of Law, Farris has been supporting academic collaboration and collegiality for faculty members at Allard Hall and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Law for over five years.
Established in 2010, with the aim of fostering academic and research collaboration, the Mitchell Gropper, Q.C. Faculty Exchange Program offers professors from the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem the opportunity to conduct a course or seminar overseas. Both Faculties host an exchange professor, enriching students with international instruction and giving professors the opportunity to collaborate globally. Since the program began, ten visiting professors have been hosted with two scheduled for the 2015-2016 academic year.
