

Farris partner Ludmila Herbst, Q.C., presented as part of a panel on BC’s challenges and opportunities in international arbitration, at the ADR Institute of BC’s June 11-12 symposium on “Passion, Purpose and Impact in Challenging Times”. Ludmila spoke primarily about recent amendments to BC’s International Commercial Arbitration Act. The symposium featured speakers including the Honourable David Eby, BC’s Attorney General, and other experienced counsel and arbitrators.
As part of her broader litigation practice, Ludmila has significant experience in commercial arbitration and is a co-author of Commercial Arbitration in Canada: A Guide to Domestic and International Arbitrations, which has been cited by trial and appellate courts across Canada.
