Farris Partner, Mitchell Gropper, Q.C., has been appointed the Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the Centre for Business Law, Peter A. Allard School of Law. As Chair, Mitchell will be taking on a role that has been held by esteemed members of the legal profession. Mitchell is joined by an impressive group of senior members of the legal community that make up the Dean’s Advisory Committee, all of whom have provided the Centre with thoughtful strategic direction and advice over the years. The Centre for Business Law at the Allard School of Law is a vibrant intellectual hub for the scholarship and practice of business law within Canada and internationally. It provides a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment for globally-influential business law research and scholarship; outstanding educational programs to support students’ learning in business law; and programming that fosters intellectual exchange among the Centre’s community members
