Associate, Amanda Winters, has had a busy fall, speaking at two conferences targeted at estate litigators and planners. On October 21, 2021, Amanda presented at PBLI’s Estate Litigation conference. Her presentation, entitled “Challenges to Validity”, looked at various ways the validity of a will can be attacked. On November 25, 2021, Amanda spoke at CLEBC’s Basics of Wills and Estate Planning conference, on the subject of family law issues arising in wills variation cases. Summer Articled student, Kelvin Zhu, helped Amanda identify recent cases on the subject.
Amanda is a member of the family law and estate litigation groups at Farris. She has experience with matters in both areas, as well as cases where estate and family law intersect.
