Our Partner, Karen Shirley-Paterson, was nominated for, and recently accepted the position of Secretary, Canadian Chapter, International Academy of Family Lawyers (“IAFL”).  IAFL is a worldwide network of practising lawyers who are recognized by their peers as experienced and skilled family law lawyers in their respective countries.  Members of IAFL participate in legal education and exchange assistance on a range of legal issues in their own jurisdictions and where international issues arise, including but not limited to, cohabitation and marital agreements, and relocation or abduction of children.
