Farris Partner, Ludmila Herbst, K.C., presented on property assessment matters during the April 7, 2022 “Legal Update” seminar held by the Canadian Property Tax Association’s BC Chapter.  Alongside counsel for BC Assessment, she spoke about “Amacon – Past, Present, and Future”, dealing with a line of split classification cases in which she has often represented taxpayers.  Ludmila practises in the fields of corporate-commercial litigation and arbitration, and often appears not only before the courts but also before arbitral and administrative tribunals such as the Property Assessment Appeal Board and the BC Utilities Commission.
