Farris was pleased to attend the 7^th annual HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series stop in Vancouver from April 16-17, where Farris’ very own Nick Allen played for Team Canada. They saw Canada beat Japan and Scotland on Sunday before losing to Ireland. That followed a 1-2 Saturday on the opening day as Canada scored the first 10 points in a swift start to the tournament only to see Australia roar back to win with 26 consecutive points. The next game was a gritty effort in a loss to South Africa before a victory over Spain, landing in 10th place. Argentina upset Olympic champions Fiji to win the Vancouver leg of the World Rugby Sevens, their first win in the series since 2009. The Aussies captured the bronze medal. Farris lawyers and guests embraced the fancy dress tradition with the theme “Pajama Party”.
