On March 1, 2023, Farris Partner, Ludmila Herbst, K.C., spoke on the topic of efficient international commercial arbitration during a webinar organized by the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre and California Arbitration. Ludmila spoke as part of a panel of arbitrators and arbitration counsel about efficiencies that might be obtained through procedural conferences, selection of particular rules, restrictions on discovery, and adoption of particular hearing processes.  Ludmila often represents parties in commercial arbitrations as well as occasionally sitting as an arbitrator. She is the co-author of Commercial Arbitration in Canada: A Guide to Domestic and International Arbitrations.
