Farris was pleased to sponsor the cocktail reception portion of The Advocates’ Society second Vancouver gala, held on March 2, 2023. The Advocates’ Society is a nationwide organization that was established to ensure the presence of a courageous and independent bar, and the maintenance of the role of the advocate in the administration of justice. This exciting event, with a cherry blossom theme, brought together members of the legal profession from British Columbia and beyond. Several Farris partners and associates are members of The Advocates’ Society, including partner, Ludmila Herbst, K.C., who is the chair of The Advocates’ Society’s B.C. advisory committee and was one of the gala’s emcees. Farris partner, Nicholas Hooge, is co-chairing the upcoming Advocates’ Society conference on Examining and Cross-Examining Experts (B.C.), which will be held on May 17, 2023.
