Farris Associate, Mohnaam Shergill was interviewed by Global BC and again today, by CBC, regarding her ongoing efforts to raise awareness about Sikh Heritage Month. As a founding member of the Sikh Heritage Society of BC, Mohnaam emphasized the importance of the Society’s events aimed at celebrating the social, economic and cultural contributions of Sikh Canadians to British Columbia, while promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding. The Society’s event lineup, which can be accessed here includes a 2-day art exhibition, live performances, and a conversation about belonging and identity.
