Farris Lawyer Matthew Lawson has been appointed Co-Chair of a newly formed Western Canada Committee of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce (CACC). The CCAC aims to build quality business connections and promote trade and investment between Canada and Australia. The new Committee will focus on enhancing these relationships within British Columbia and Alberta. Matthew is Senior Counsel working out of Farris’ Vancouver and Kelowna offices. Having practiced extensively in both Canada and Australia, his areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate commercial law, equity and debt financing, and securities matters. He works with private companies as well as public and institutional clients across various industries, and his practice frequently involves cross-border considerations.
