Last Friday marked our annual end-of-year Trike Race for Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC students, this year with a “Pajama Party” theme. Our Farris riders (Chad Bush, Jacob Harrigan, Sara Finnegan, Jack Sorokin) were sadly unable to defend last year’s title, which was taken by the Legal Eagles, but had a blast getting pelted with water balloons as they gave a valiant effort. The prize for best costume came down to Penguins vs. Goats, ultimately decided by arm wrestle in favour of the Goats. Most importantly though, win or lose, fun was had by all – especially the water balloon crowd on the sidelines! Thanks to Ryan Sissons and the Allard Law Students Society for all your planning to make this event a success, and good luck to everyone heading into final exams.
