

Farris lawyer, Harninder Dhillon, has been appointed to the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Vancouver Young Practitioners Steering Committee. The Committee strives to create opportunities for young tax practitioners and students interested in taxation to pursue professional development and to network in the tax community.
Harninder is an Associate in the Tax Group. She has experience advising clients who are involved in audits conducted by the Canada Revenue Agency and clients who are disputing income tax and GST assessments. Harninder also provides advice and representation in respect of provincial tax matters, including empty homes tax, speculation tax and property transfer tax. She has appeared at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Tax Court of Canada.
