Aleksandra earned her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, Aleksandra was selected to be part of the Canadian Labour Arbitration Moot team and volunteered with the Career Services Office, Allard Women’s Caucus, and Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. She was also a Legal Buddy, Notetaker, and Workshop Leader with the Legal Outreach Club.

Prior to law school, Aleksandra obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She spent several years as an administrative decision-maker at the Employment Standards Branch, Ministry of Labour and was consequently awarded the Edward D. Bates, Q.C. Award in Public Law in law school.

In her free time, Aleksandra volunteers as a Mentor with Beedie Luminaries, and enjoys spending time with her dogs, gardening, and traveling. She is fluent in Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian.
