Claire is an Associate in the Family Law Group with over a decade of litigation and trial experience, including appearances at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She has a proven track record of successful trial results and high settlement rates as both plaintiff and defense counsel. Her strong negotiation skills have led to favorable outcomes in numerous mediations.

With a background in business and law, Claire takes a cost-effective approach to resolving matters for her clients. Prior to joining Farris, she practiced civil litigation and personal injury law at a crown corporation and family law at a boutique firm.

Claire earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Toronto.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys traveling with her husband and their toddler son. She is fluent in both written and spoken Korean, and also speaks basic Japanese and Mandarin.

  • Tabatabaei-Zavarei v Farina, 2021 BCSC 1082 – Obtained a favorable judgment for the client and successfully argued that the plaintiff was neither credible nor reliable. Additionally, successfully argued that some of the injuries were not caused by the accident.
