Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
While at law school, Lauren competed in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot, where she was awarded Best Respondent Factum. She has also received several awards for academic achievement, including the Law Scholarship and the Panvini Scholarship in Law.
Lauren remained active in the UBC community by volunteering with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and organizing the First Year Moots. Lauren also worked at the Sauder School of Business as a law tutor for real estate licensing programs and as a teaching assistant for a commercial law course.
Prior to attending law school, Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Simon Fraser University where she studied Criminology and Political Science. During this time, Lauren worked at a federal law enforcement agency where she developed her passion for the study of law.
