Matt is a litigator in Farris Kelowna office. His practice areas include labour and employment law and general litigation, with a focus on construction and professional liability matters.

Matt advises and represents businesses, employers and individual clients on a wide range of employment matters, including human rights complaints, employment standards complaints, post employment competition, privacy issues, workers compensation issues, injunctions and wrongful dismissal actions.  Matt also provides advice and assists clients with respect to labour and employment issues in relation to commercial transactions, as well as preparing employment contracts, policies and procedures.

Matt also advises and represents businesses, professionals and individual clients on a wide range of construction and professional liability matters, including, contract disputes, contract drafting, insurance claims/disputes and builders’ liens matters.

Matt has acted for clients in matters before various provincial and federal courts including the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Human Rights Tribunal and the Employment Standards Tribunal.
