Sydney is entering her third year of law school at the University of Victoria. At law school, Sydney has been involved with two projects for Pro Bono Students Canada. In her first year, she received the Fasken Entrance Scholarship.

Prior to law school, Sydney worked as a tax accountant for five years at a Big Four accounting firm, leaving at the level of tax manager. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has completed Parts I, II and III of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada In-Depth Tax Course. She has a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University. During her undergraduate degree, she completed an exchange semester at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

In her spare time, Sydney enjoys hiking, skiing, rock climbing and camping. She is always scouring AllTrails for her next adventure.
