Sydney A. Snape




Sydney will be returning to Farris to Article in 2022/2023.

Sydney recently completed her second year in the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. She previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History at the University of British Columbia. Prior to law school, she worked at a regulatory institution and for Indigenous Nations in policy development.

Sydney was awarded the Canadian Bar Association of BC Branch Award Scholarship for her strong commitment to the ideals served by the CBABC. Most recently, she was awarded the Dean’s Course Prize in Health Law and the Law Foundation Public Interest Award. Sydney is an elected student representative of the TRU Law Equity Committee, a Student Lead for Pro Bono Students Canada TRU Chapter and serves as President of the TRU OUTLaws. She is also an elected Director of the Kamloops Pride Association (KPA) for 2020-2021.

Outside the office, Sydney enjoys volunteering with Paws It Forward, a dog rescue based out of Kelowna, cooking and golfing.
