Tanu is a student in the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University. At law school, Tanu worked as a Student Caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid and served as a Group Leader for students enrolled in the Clinical Litigation Practice course. She has also volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and is the President of the Queen’s Children and Youth Law Club.
Prior to law school, Tanu obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Victoria where she studied Economics and Environmental Studies. Tanu has also previously worked in the Ministry of Children and Family Development as an Adjudicator.
In her spare time, Tanu enjoys cooking, hiking, and watching movies.
