Farris Partner, Ludmila Herbst, K.C. presented on May 13, 2021 at the “Arbitration Nose to Tail” conference organized by the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre (VanIAC) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Vancouver Chapter.  Ludmila chaired a panel on “The Hearing and Afterwards”, and spoke on the topic of challenging the arbitration award, as well as potential enforcement.  Ludmila regularly represents clients as arbitration counsel and in court proceedings related to the arbitration agreements and awards.  She is also the co-author of Commercial Arbitration in Canada: A Guide to Domestic and International Arbitrations, which has been cited by trial and appellate courts across Canada.
