On September 21, Farris Partner, Ludmila Herbst, K.C., presented on a panel dealing with “Legislative Reform” in the ADRIC Arbitration Forum segment of CanArbWeek 2021.  Ludmila addressed topics including B.C.’s new Arbitration Act, which came into force in September 2020.  Ludmila is a litigator who represents clients in commercial arbitrations as well as before the courts and administrative tribunals. She is also the co-author of Commercial Arbitration in Canada: A Guide to Domestic and International Arbitrations, which has been cited by trial and appellate courts across Canada. CanArbWeek is a weeklong conference bringing together, virtually, arbitration practitioners and those interested in arbitration-related topics.
