On July 8th, Farris sponsored the 10th Annual TMX Charity Golf Classic, which was held at the University Golf Club in Vancouver. Proceeds from the TMX Charity Golf Classic go to support two important charities, The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC, which aims to remove barriers for people with disabilities in BC, and Room to Read, a global non-profit organization with goals to promote child literacy and gender equality in education.
