Farris partner Ludmila Herbst, K.C., re-joins the executive of the Canadian Property Tax Association – BC Chapter for the 2024-2025 year. Ludmila was formerly the chapter’s secretary, from 2011 to 2013. Ludmila is an experienced litigator who, as part of her broad practice, regularly represents taxpayers, particularly large developers, in tax-related matters under the Assessment Act and the School Act, before both the Property Assessment Appeal Board and the B.C. courts. The Canadian Property Tax Association was founded in 1967 and is a national organization providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information relating to both commercial and industrial property tax issues arising across Canada.
