Todd Bell Presents at PARS
Farris Partner Todd Bell recently presented at the BC Parenting Assessor Roster Society on ‘The Legal and Procedural Side of 211 Reports’, addressing the legal and procedural dimensions of Section 211 reports under the Family Law Act. Todd’s session examined the evolving case law and practical challenges counsel face when working with 211 reports, including the scope and limits of disclosure demands, pre-trial examination rights and obligations, and the use of 211 reports in interim (stop-gap) proceedings. He also highlighted key procedural and evidentiary standards that counsel must follow, offering insight into issues that often arise in practice.
Todd is an experienced family law litigator and trial lawyer. He practices parenting and custody litigation, assists parties seeking emergency protection from family violence and divides high net-worth assets such as corporate interests, trusts, foreign property, and pensions.
