Ludmila Herbst, K.C., Named 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” for Administrative and Public Law in Vancouver
Farris litigation partner Ludmila Herbst, K.C., was named Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” for Administrative and Public Law in Vancouver. The “Lawyer of the Year” status is awarded to an individual lawyer who receives the highest overall peer feedback in a specific practice area and geographic region.
Part of Farris’s vibrant and longstanding administrative and public law practice, Ludmila has for over 25 years represented clients before all levels of court on a wide range of constitutional issues, including with respect to the Charter of Rights and the federal-provincial division of powers, and on judicial review. She has also argued cases for clients before a wide range of other administrative tribunals including the British Columbia Utilities Commission, the Property Assessment Appeal Board and the Cullen Commission of Inquiry on Money Laundering in British Columbia, and has long acted for other regulators.
