Education

Bahij obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. During his first year, Bahij volunteered as a caseworker at the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP), providing legal services to low-income individuals in Toronto. During his second year, he was a Deans Fellow for Civil Procedure for first-year students. In this role, Bahij supported the cohort throughout the semester through class lectures and one on one meetings. Also important to him was the opportunity to help students get acclimated to life in law school and share his own experiences from when he was in their position.

Before law school, Bahij worked as a registry clerk at Vancouver Provincial Criminal Court, a teaching assistant at Simon Fraser University, and as an asset protection associate at Walmart Canada. Bahij obtained a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Criminology and Political Science from Simon Fraser University in 2019.

Bahij is fluent in Farsi. Outside work, you can find him lifting weights at the gym at dawn, swimming, hiking, exploring new trails, camping, and snowboarding.
