Casey received her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. In her final year of university, she assisted at the University of Pretoria’s Law Clinic as part of her chosen elective courses.

Prior to immigrating and completing her legal accreditation in Canada, Casey was admitted as an Attorney in South Africa. Her previous experience in South Africa includes practice in the areas of both civil and criminal litigation.

Outside of work, Casey enjoys travelling and discovering new places. She is also fluent in Afrikaans.
