Megan obtained her J.D. from the University of Victoria. During law school, Megan worked as a peer tutor with the Amicus program, volunteered as an executive for the Environmental Law Club, served on the Admissions Committee, and played on the UVic Law intramural volleyball team “Justice is Served”. During her third year, she participated in the Willms and Shier Environmental Law Moot, where she was recognized as a Distinguished Oralist. Megan won several awards for academic performance and community involvement while in law school, including the Lars Alfred Lindholm Memorial Scholarship, the Kenneth H. Crook Memorial Scholarship, and the BLG Professional Excellence Award.
Prior to law school, Megan attended the University of British Columbia – Okanagan campus, where she received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology. In her final year, she participated in an international exchange to the University of Oslo.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys staying active by running, hiking, skiing, playing volleyball, and walking her parents’ duck tolling retriever, Piper.
