Mohnaam K. Shergill




Mohnaam received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021. In her final year, Mohnaam was awarded the Bora Laskin Prize for her paper on Indigenous rights in Canada and was a finalist at the 2021 Laskin Moot. Mohnaam also competed at the 2020 Walsh Family Law Moot and was a caseworker for the Innocence Project at Osgoode Hall.

Prior to attending law school, Mohnaam obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Simon Fraser University where she studied political science. While at SFU, Mohnaam spent time in Brussels and Rome as part of the SFU NATO Field School.

Mohnaam joined Farris in 2020 as a summer articling student before returning as an articling student in 2021. In her spare time, Mohnaam enjoys travelling, cooking and hiking.
