Nick earned his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, he volunteered as an Economics in Law Mentor, worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Anne Uteck in the area of Torts and Contract Law, participated in the Business Law Clinic, and received the Hon. Grant D. Burnyeat, Q.C. Award in Law.

During his second and third years of law school, and prior to coming back to Farris LLP, Nick played rugby professionally for Canada’s Men’s Rugby Sevens team competing on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Prior to law school, Nick received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia where he majored in Economics with a minor in International Relations. Throughout his undergraduate degree, and at law school, Nick competed as a member of the Men’s Varsity Rugby Team at UBC as a 5x Academic All-Canadian and served on the Thunderbird Athletic Council for four years as Vice-President.

In his free time, Nick enjoys watching sports, managing fantasy sports teams, playing golf, and traveling.
