Patrick obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.

Prior to law school, Patrick was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Corpus Christi College at UBC. He has a background in several areas, including corporate finance, banking, securities, non-profit governance and operations. Patrick joined the L’Arche Society of Greater Vancouver Foundation Board in 2020 as treasurer and has served as the Board Chair since 2023.

Patrick is an avid sports fan and enjoys getting outside and being active in Vancouver. When he is away from the office, he can be found playing baseball, hockey and golf, cooking French food, and enjoying politics and history.
