Sandy is a member of the Advocacy & Litigation Group at Farris, where she maintains a broad litigation practice, with a particular interest in insolvency litigation.
Sandy advises businesses and organizations on complex corporate and commercial disputes and insolvency-related matters, including security enforcement, creditors’ remedies, receiverships, and bankruptcies.
Sandy obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, Faculty of Law in 2021. During her time in law school, Sandy was the co-editor of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. Sandy was awarded Dean’s course prize in Community Lawyering and achieved Dean’s List in her last semester.
Sandy joined Farris as a summer articled student in 2020. After completing her law degree, Sandy returned to Farris to complete her articles and became an associate at the firm in 2022.
Outside of work, Sandy enjoys running, travelling and exploring Vancouver’s unique restaurants.
