Tio is a current student at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. In law school, Tio has been a Student Caseworker at the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, where he has worked with low-income clients on employment, human rights, criminal, and tenancy matters. Tio has also been a Queen’s Law Journal Editor and a Research Assistant. Before law school, Tio worked in fundraising, where he raised money to support students in financial need and developing communities in Niger. Tio obtained a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, where he majored in philosophy with a minor in political science. In his free time, Tio plays the electric guitar, reads science fiction, and listens to alternative music.
