On September 30, 2017, TriWest Capital Partners, one of Canada’s leading private equity firms, invested in Coast Wholesale Appliances Inc. (“Coast”), a leading independent distributor and retailer of major appliances serving the builder, contractor and retail markets across Canada. The investment was made in partnership with Coast’s senior management and existing shareholders, who have all retained an ownership stake. Partner Brian Canfield and Associate Matthew Smith advised Coast on the transaction.
