Farris Lawyers in Spotlight at Wine Conference
Farris Senior Counsel, Al Hudec and Associate, Megan O’Neill, attended the Association Internationale des Juristes du Droit de la Vigne et du Vin’s (AIDV) 33rd Annual Meeting. Al was a co-panelist on the topic of ‘Managing Risk in the Wine Industry’, with Megan as moderator.
Al Hudec is Senior Counsel in the Corporate Commercial group. He has experience in all legal aspects of securities and corporate finance, including mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and independent committee representation, with emphasis on the North American resource (mining, forestry, oil and gas), infrastructure, and technology. He currently focuses his practice on commercial transactions involving Indigenous parties and has been lead lawyer on many of Canada’s most significant Indigenous transactions over the last 12 years. He is also a prominent legal advisor to the BC wine industry, advising on purchase and sale transactions and regulatory matters.
Megan O’Neill is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial group. She practices in a wide range of areas including corporate commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, and real estate. Megan has experience dealing with both private and public companies.
