Farris Partner, Denise Nawata, has been appointed to the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) Listings Advisory Committee, effective July 1, 2025. The Committee is composed of eminent capital markets professionals from legal, business, accounting, and regulatory backgrounds, and provides guidance to the TSX on regulatory and business matters related to the listings process. Committee members serve three-year terms and play an important role in shaping the direction of Canada’s capital markets.

Denise is a Partner in the Corporate and Securities Group. She advises public and private companies on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and debt and equity financings. Her practice also includes securities compliance, disclosure obligations, and general corporate matters, as well as advising on mining and oil & gas title and permitting issues.
