Jessica is a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. As a law student, Jessica has been involved with the UBC Law Review, the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and Pro Bono Students Canada. In her second year of legal studies, she was a caseworker at the UBC Innocence Project and a member of the Gale Moot Cup team. For her academic achievement and volunteerism, Jessica was awarded the Hon. Grant D. Burnyeat, K.C. Award in Law and the Allan McEachern Prize in Criminal Law. Prior to law school, Jessica completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Policy at the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Humanities at Sciences Po Paris. In recognition of her advocacy work for mental health, she received the TD Scholarship for Community Leadership. Outside of her work and academic pursuits, Jessica enjoys traveling, playing board games, and spoiling her cat, Bob.
