Maja is currently a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. During her first year, she served as a Communications Representative for the Allard Women’s Caucus and volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. In her second year she competed at the National Labour Arbitration Competition held at the Labour Board in Toronto. In recognition of her academic, advocacy, and leadership successes she has received four scholarships in law school. Prior to law school, Maja completed her undergraduate degree at UBC, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society. She graduated among the top four students in the Political Science faculty. Maja has been involved in competitive debate for over a decade having competed at the national and international levels at tournaments such as Oxford IV, and Cambridge IV where she ranked as the 9th best speaker. Throughout her time in university, she has operated a small business as a debate coach. In her free time, Maja enjoys going to the beach, playing board games, and spending time with her cat.
