On August 12, 2020, Apteryx Imaging Inc. (TSXV: XRAY) was acquired by Planet DDS by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement.  Planet DDS acquired all of the outstanding common and preferred shares of Apteryx for $0.65 per share in an all-cash transaction that valued Apteryx at approximately $39 million.  Apteryx provides dentists and oral health specialists with advanced diagnostic imaging software and device technologies.  Planet DDS is the largest independent provider of cloud-native practice management software to the dental industry.

Apteryx was represented by Farris with a team led by Partners David Selley and Denise Nawata and that included Partner Mark Chu (Tax).
