Farris lawyers recently acted for the vendors in the sale of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ltd. to an affiliate of the Aldesta Hotel Group. Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ltd. operates a year-round vacation destination situated in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and features pools fed by the largest natural hot springs in Canada. The resort also includes, among other amenities, a hotel, lodge, three golf courses, a ski hill, cottages, and an RV park.

The vendors were represented by a Farris transaction team led by Rob Veitch and including Kurtis Harms (M&A), Chloe Slessor (M&A), Mark Chu (Tax) and Trevor Shum (Tax).
