On July 7th, Farris sponsored the 11th Annual TMX Charity Golf Classic, which was held at the University Golf Club in Vancouver. Proceeds from the TMX Charity Golf Classic go to support two important charities: Backpack Buddies, a local organization that helps fill the weekend hunger gap by providing meals to children in need when school-based food programs are not available, and Room to Read, a global non-profit organization with goals to promote child literacy and gender equality in education. In attendance on the Farris team were, Ron Murray, Jay Sujir, Denise Nawata, and Bo Rothstein.
