Farris LLP acted as Canadian counsel to NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSX: NXE; NYSE: NXE; ASX: NXG) in connection with its global underwritten equity offering, which raised approximately A$1 billion (C$950 million) in gross proceeds. The transaction was completed through a concurrent A$600 million underwritten offering in Australia and a C$400 million bought deal offering in North America.

This landmark financing ranks among the largest equity offerings in the global mining sector in recent years, and is one of the most significant in the uranium industry. The proceeds will support the development of NexGen’s Rook I Project in Saskatchewan – Canada’s largest development-stage uranium asset.
