Farris was pleased to sponsor the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) BC’s 13th Annual Gala at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. FACL is a diverse coalition of Asian Canadian legal professionals working to promote equity, justice, and opportunity for Asian Canadian legal professionals and the wider community. The funds raised from the Gala support FACL BC’s impactful year-round activities, including continuing legal education sessions, socials, student mentorship, and advocacy. This year’s gala theme was “Unity in Diversity”, emphasizing how our differences make us stronger and highlighting the importance of working together across various backgrounds to build a more inclusive and equitable legal community. Farris lawyer and FACL VP Marketing, Sandy Lun, had the privilege of presenting two 2024 FACL Student Scholarships to deserving Allard law students, one of which was sponsored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
